How can I invite my Facebook friends?

Just click the "Post to Facebook" button on your invitation. Once you click it, you'll be taken to an info page explaining the different options you have for inviting your Facebook friends: You can either send the Evite invitation to your friends’ Facebook inboxes or post the invitation on your News Feed. Keep in mind that due to Facebook restrictions, you won’t see your Facebook friends on your guest list until after they RSVP.

As the host, how can I change my reply, number in party or RSVP comment?

Go to your invitation from the signed in Evite homepage. You’ll see the RSVP toolbar where you’ll find a quick synopsis of the RSVPs you’ve gotten so far. On the right end of the toolbar, click “Edit Invitation.” Click “Edit Guest List.” You’ll be able to edit your RSVP, number in party and RSVP comment, then click “Close.” If you don’t have any more edits to make, click “Done Editing.”

Where is the message to guests on my invitation?

The layout of your invitation has been given a little face-lift. In order to keep the focus on the design you selected, we’ve moved the message to guests just below the invitation design (you’ll see it right above the Event Conversation).

How can I copy my invitation?

Once you’re signed in on Evite, find the invitation you’d like to copy in either your Upcoming or Past Events. Below the event title, click the “Copy Invitation” link. This will bring up your invitation design pre-filled with your event details and guests. You’ll need to select a new date, but other than that, you can change as much as you like or just keep everything the same.

How can I ask guests to bring something?

Click on the red bag icon where you would add a comment in the Event Conversation. In the window that opens, list the items you’d like guests to sign up for and how many of each item you need, then click “Post Comment.” Your guests will see the sign-up list in the Event Conversation. Once a quantity is met, that item will disappear from the list.

Please note, if you have chosen to hide the guest list, the Event Conversation will be disabled and you won't be able to use this feature.

How can I upload my own image for my invitation?

How can I add a poll to my invitation?

Click on the three bars icon where you would add a comment in the Event Conversation. In the window that opens, enter your question and answer options, then click “Post Comment.” Your guests will see the poll in the Event Conversation.

Please note, if you have chosen to hide the guest list, the Event Conversation will be disabled and you won't be able to use this feature.

How can I send out reminders for my event?

Evite automatically sends reminder emails two days before your event to any of your guests who have replied yes or maybe as well as those who haven't replied. If you'd like to send additional reminders to your guests, you can use the Send a Message feature on your invitation. When you send your guests a message, the email will include a link to your invitation.

How do I edit my invitation?

How can I add, edit or merge an email address on my Evite account?

First make sure you're signed into Evite. Once you're signed in, click your name in the green Evite navigation bar (toward the top right corner of the page). This will open a list of options. Click "Settings" and you will be taken to a page where you can view or edit email addresses to your account. If you would like to add a secondary email address or merge an existing Evite account, click the button at the bottom of the page to get started.

Will I be able to invite contacts from my Evite.com address book?

Yes! Just sign in after you click the “Evite Contacts” button on the Add Guests step (if you’re not already signed in), and you’ll be able to access your contacts. You can either click the checkbox by the contacts you want to invite or just start typing and you’ll see match contacts’ names appear. Note: Depending on how many contacts you have, it may take a few seconds for your contacts to appear.

You’ll also be able to add groups of contacts to your invitation by selecting a group from the “Filter by Group” dropdown.

Why am I having trouble navigating the new Evite site?

Since we've updated our site, we've added new functionality that works best with the most up-to-date versions of your browser. Make sure your browser has been updated with the latest version to experience the new Evite at its best. If you're still having trouble with the new site, try switching to another internet browser like Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.

Why aren't I receiving Evite emails in my inbox?

Your Evite emails may have been filtered to your spam folder. In order to ensure that Evite emails end up in your inbox, add info@mailva.evite.com to your contacts and/or mark any Evite emails as not spam.

How do I stop receiving email notifications when guests RSVP or comment?

First make sure you're signed into Evite. Once you're signed in, click your name in the green Evite navigation bar (toward the top right corner of the page). This will open a list of options. Click "Settings" and you will be taken to a page where you can edit your email notifications. If you no longer want to receive notifications when guests RSVP or comment, make sure the boxes next to those options are unchecked.

How can I print my invitation or guest list?

How can I report a bug or give Evite feedback?

Go to our Evite Community Forum and select "Report a Problem." If you’re reporting a bug, be sure to tell us which internet browser you’re using (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.) and what you did to get the bug.

How can I access Evite on my mobile phone?

Just go to http://m.evite.com to see a mobile-friendly version of Evite.

Why can't I register with a non-US location?
